Rob Baard – Owner and Principal Instructor
Welcome to Bujinkan Martial Arts, Ninjutsu Academy
After being inspired by martial arts films of the 90’s I began training in 1992. After trying Karate, Taekwondo and other arts I finally found what I was looking for, a Ninjutsu school in my local area, and for me I never looked back. Over the years I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to Japan, the USA and Tasmania to train.
In 2005 I turned my passion for film making and martial arts into a reality, by producing 4 films, and a Documentary which I filmed in Japan with the Grandmaster of Ninjutsu, that then went on to win the LA film awards in Hollywood. The past few years I’ve been lucky enough to train twice a year in Japan. All of this has allowed me to study, train and teach as a major part of my day to day life, and I can honestly say I love sharing my passion with anyone who cares to listen.
What I love about the art is how life changing it is, it’s happened for me, I’ve seen it happen for others and I’d love to see it happen for you. Come train : )
Rob is an amazing teacher, with great passion and knowledge. The lessons he teaches do not apply only to Ninjutsu, but to life in general.Jerome Rabanin
Rob is the best teacher and a great person. He has taught me so much about myself. Ninjutsu is a way of life and not like other martial arts.Leon Websdale
